for Daily Harvest Designs, LLC / My Own Edible Landscape - https://www.myownediblelandscape.com

While I believe 100% in the design process I teach in My Own Edible Landscape, I am not in control of your design, your garden, your harvests, or your circumstances.  That is why I do not promise that simply enrolling in My Own Edible Landscape will result in a customized landscape design for your space, nor do I promise that enrollment will result in a basket full of fresh produce every day.  You are in control of your entire design project (and the garden installation, maintenance, and harvests that follow).  Your edible landscape design and garden are fully your responsibility.

The landscape design process is complex and requires a time commitment from design students (though, the exact timing is flexible and can be completed at your own pace).  Your design should be completed before you start planting and reaping the benefits of your garden.  Edible gardening takes time - sometimes even years before you get a harvest from some plants - so expect this to be a long term project and a (very wise, in my opinion) lifestyle choice.

I am a professional designer with years of experience, but I am not an expert in your local laws or specific microclimate.  It is your job to research and obtain any necessary permits for the installation of your edible landscape design (permits typically pertain to fences, structures, hardscape areas, water collection and reuse, chickens and other animals within town and city limits, etc. - but again, check your local laws).  You are also responsible for researching and obeying all easements, neighborhood codes and covenants, and any other legal guidelines associated with your specific location.  Please seek assistance from the appropriate professionals throughout your design process and garden installation.  To get started, your local municipality should be a great resource for zoning and code regulations.

For the dreamers out there (those that have been longing for a career change and view this course as an opportunity to learn new marketable skills) - go you!  I hope that you find this course useful in developing your design skills so that you may offer edible landscape design services to clients.  We make no guarantee that you will profit from anything you learn in this course or by offering an edible landscape design service to clients or the public.  Also, please note that The Ultimate Edible Plant Database is for use during your course design project only.  You do not have permission or license to copy or use The Ultimate Edible Plant Database for commercial purposes.
